About Me

Hi, I’m Jay Jain — an entrepreneur, tech enthusiast, and problem-solver with a strong interest in consulting and finance. I enjoy thinking about how businesses grow, plan their strategy, and adapt from launch to scale. Alongside this, I’ve built and launched my own startups from the ground up, giving me hands-on experience in everything from product development to marketing. For me, the most exciting part of any challenge is connecting the dots between strategy and execution.

My journey began with clearing JEE Advanced (AIR 7941 out of 1.25 million), which took me to IIT Madras for my B.Tech. in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. I also scored in the 98th percentile on the GMAT, further reflecting my analytical and problem-solving skills. At IIT, I not only developed deep technical expertise across fields like AI/ML, drones/UAVs, batteries, AC/DC motors, and app-web & game development but also nurtured my entrepreneurial spirit by experimenting with different ideas. Today, I’m pursuing my Master in Management at INSEAD Business School, expanding my focus into strategy, consulting, and finance to complement my technical and startup background.

Beyond work and academics, I’m curious about automobiles, gaming, fashion, and food — passions that often inspire my creative side. I enjoy swimming, backpacking, and exploring new cultures, and I’m always up for trying new cuisines. Whether it’s building technology, designing a game, or shaping a business plan, I thrive on variety, creation, and collaboration. I’m always open to new ideas, startup projects, or consulting opportunities where I can bring both breadth and depth to the table.
